Last weekend I was graciously invited to a delicious dinner party in New York. We got to eat eat eat and celebrate Christina's birthday with a really fantastic orange-ricotta-brandy cake, all thanks to her extremely culinary friend Nick. So much better than the whole wheat pasta and marinara I had been making myself for dinner every night of the prior week. I hope my former restaurant bosses never find out about that.
